Tuve la magnífica oportunidad de pasar una semana en una isla en medio del Lago Rideau (a una hora de Ottawa). Asistí a un seminario en Educación y Tecnología impartido por los más grandes gurus de este medio, Kris y Scott de Minneapolis. Nuestro grupo era reducido y diverso, Jacopo de Firenze, Italia; Martin de Kentucky; Ted de Ottawa; Troy de Indiana; Vicky de Utah; Susan y Ralph de Carolina del Sur; y Wendy de Chicago.
Nuestros anfitriones Jennifer y David nos consintieron con elegantes y deliciosas comidas tres veces al día, preparadas por nuestro chef Rob, quien ha trabajado para la Embajada Francesa en Ottawa por algunos años. Todos los días trabajamos muy duro, pero siempre tuvimos tiempo para explorar y disfrutar este increíble lugar.

I had the wonderful opportunity to spend one week in an island in the middle of the Rideau Lake (one hour from Ottawa). I assisted to a seminar in Education Technology imparted by the two top gurus on the subject, Kris and Scott from Minneapolis. We were a small but diverse group, Jacopo from Firenze, Italy; Martin from Kentucky; Ted (AKA Ken) from Ottawa; Troy from Indiana; Vicky from Utah; Susan and Ralph from South Carolina; and Wendy from Chicago.
Our hosts, Jennifer and David, spoiled us with fancy meals three times a day prepared by Rob who has been chef for the French Embassy in Ottawa for many years. We worked very hard most of the day, but we always have some time to explore and enjoy this incredible place.
I have never shot so many pictures in a single week, almost a thousand! I am presenting a selection of these images. Welcome and enjoy this virtual tour. And if you were there with me, I hope you revive our happy days at Grindstone Island.
