Hace mucho y hace tiempo que nací. Tuve también una mamá y un papá: Lucy y Héctor.

Mis papás fueron unas personas excepcionales. Tuve la fortuna de llegar a mi familia y entrar en sus vidas en el momento adecuado.

En las fotos de arriba, nos encontramos en el parque frente al Multifamiliar Miguél Alemán en la Ciudad de México / Julio 27, 1967.

Cabe mencionar que uno de estos edificios y el hospital cercano, se derrumbaron durante el terremoto de 1985

Once upon a time, I was born, and I had a mom and a dad: Lucy and Héctor.

My folks were the best guys I've ever met, and I came into their lives at the correct time. I had wonderful parents and a loving family.

In the pictures above we are in front of the Parque del Multifamiliar Miguél Alemán in México City /July 27, 1967.

By the way, one of these buildings, and the nearby Hospital collapsed during the 1985 earthquake.

¡Yo era un tipo afortunado! Siempre andábamos saliendo a lugares. Yo inicié mis viajes desde que estaba en el vientre de mi mamá.

Aquí estamos en el planetario de la Ciudad de México, Diciembre 12, 1967. En la foto de la izquierda se ven las montañas que rodean la ciudad.

La Ciudad de México es una de las más grandes del mundo y se encuentra atrapada en un valle a 2,500 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar. Hoy, es inusual el ver estas bellas montañas por la contaminación. Aún así, es un lugar increíble que vale la pena visitar.

I was a lucky guy! We used to go out very often. I started traveling since I was in my mom's womb.

Here we are at the planetarium in México City, December 12, 1967. In the picture in the left, you can see some of the mountains surrounding the city.

México City is one of the largest cities in the whole world trapped in a valley at 2,500 meters above the sea level. Now a days, it is unusual to see all these beautiful mountains because of the pollution. Still, it is an amazing place worth to visit.

Mi familia era pequeñita, sin embargo éramos extremadamente unidos. Viajamos muchísimo y compartimos tantas cosas increíbles juntos.

Aquí estamos, mi hermana Paty, my Abuelita Aurora, mi mamá y yo en las lagunas de Zem-poala en Morelos, México / Febrero 9, 1969.

My family was not large at all, but we were very close to each other. We traveled a lot and shared high quality time.

Aquí estamos mi Abuelito y yo con sombrero Mexicano, frente a la tiendita de mi Abuelita en el centro de la Ciudad de México/ Junio 13, 1968.

Mi Abuelito se llamaba César Augusto y mis papás me nombraron en honor a él.

El era un hombre muy blanco tipo Europeo, y mi Abuelita tenía una piel muy morena tipo indíge-na. Yo soy totalmente mestizo, mitad y mitad.

Mi familia siempre me enseñó a sentirme orgu-lloso de nuestra herencia Española e indígena. Aprendí a respetar pirámides e iglesias por igual.

Por cierto, mi Abuelito era el papá de mi papá, y mi Abuelita era la mamá de mi mamá. El papá de mi mamá murió mucho antes de mi nacimien-to, y aunque conocí muy bien a la mamá de mi papá, nunca tuvimos una relación tan estrecha.

His name was César Augusto, I got my name after him.

My Gram pa, as you can see, was a very blond guy, and my Granny was a very dark skin woman. I am a total "mestizo" half-and-half.

My family always taught me to be proud of my Spanish and Native Mexican heritage. I learned to respect pyramids and churches as well.

I want to mention that he was my dad's dad, and she was my mom's mom. My mother's father died long before I was born. I knew my father's mother, and we visited her often, but we were really never close.

¡Oh sí que yo era realmente suertudo y feliz, siempre rodeado de bellas mujeres!

Ella vino al mundo cuatro años después que yo y compartimos por largo rato nuestras vidas. Aún cuando ella sigue viviendo en México seguimos en contacto. Ahora, ella tiene tres hijos por cuen-ta propia: Andrea, Héctor, y María Fernanda.

She came four years after me. We shared many years of our lives together, and even though she is in México, we're still very close. Now, she has three kids of her own: Andrea, Héctor, and María Fernanda.

Solíamos tener cientos y cientos de fotografías familiares. Desafortunadamente, la gran mayoría se han perdido. Yo sólo conservo unas cuantas.

Esta fué tomada el día de mi primera comunión en la escalera de la iglesia de San Cayetano en la Ciudad de México, c. 1977.

Aquí estamos mi mamá, mi papá, mis primos "los Garcerán", Gabriel ¡en rosa!, Daniel "el Karate kid" en verde, yo, Luis, un niño desconocido, y desde luego... mi hermana Lucy mirando hacia atrás a mi mamá.

We used to have hundreds and hundreds of family pictures. Unfortunately, most of them are lost. I have just a handful with me.

This one was taken in my first communion day. We are in the steps of San Cayetano church in México City, c. 1977.

Here are my mom, my dad, my cousins "the Garcerán", Gabriel in pink!, Daniel "the Karate kid" in green, myself, Luis, an unknown child, and of course... my sister Lucy looking back at my mom.

Mi hermana Paty tiene también tres hijos: Jimena y Lídice, aquí en su primera comunión, y Héctor Daniel (Teto).

Esta es una foto muy especial para mí. Esta fué la última vez que estuvimos reunidos como familia. Aquí estamos Paty, mi mamá, yo, Lucy, mi tía Laura como siempre haciendo caras chistosas, y mis sobrinas.
