¿Qué significa el símbolo Chino?
Es mi nombre
en Chino. La parte derecha es "cae," la izquierda es "sá."
En conjunto suena "caesá." Tuve la oportunidad de visitar
Taiwán, República de China en Enero 2000. Este tipo de sellos
se han utilizado por cientos de años y son de los más antigüas
símbolos de derechos de autor. Impresiones Chinas y Japonesas contienen
estos sellos; en ocasiones conforman parte de la misma obra de arte. Muchos
fotógrafos y coleccionistas también han utilizado sellos
u otras marcas incluídas en sus trabajos. Desde que adquirí
mi sello lo he utilizado en mis piezas como referencia a esta interesante
práctica y tradición artística.

What is the Chinese character about?
It is my name in Chinese. The right side reads "Cae" and the left side reads "sá." Together they read "Caesá." I had the chance to visit Taiwan, Republic of China in January 2000. These kinds of seals have been used there for hundreds of years and are one of the oldest copyright symbols. Chinese and Japanese prints are full of these types of seals; they practically become part of the artwork. Also, many photographers and collectors have included similar seals and marks in their art work. Since I got my seal, I have included it in most of my pieces as a reference to this interesting artistic tradition
